The actress - responding to rumors she sent a text message to friend BrodyJenner about her cravings for sex and junk food in rehab - insists sheenjoys an active sex life.

Lindsay - who is rumored to be in a lesbian relationship with her DJ friendSamantha Ronson - told Allure magazine: "I'm a sexual person - everyone is,I think. And once a month I'm a McDonald's person. Everything inmoderation."

The 21-year-old, claims that abstaining from drugs and alcohol has sharpened her skills as an actress. ''I noticed how much better I was,'' Lohan tells Entertainment Weekly. ''How much more clear my thoughts were, too.''

Lohan also claims that rehab helped her focus on the task at hand during filming. ''There's no distractions,'' she says of acting while sober. ''It just comes more naturally. It's not so much a job.''

''There's a way of dealing with hardships that are healthier than going out,'' she says. ''That's what I've learned.''
